The Sound of Drums

For those brave and entrepeneurial souls who took the plunge and committed as lifetime subscribers to Cargo Cult Press limited and lettered titles, The Big Tiki has created a truly wonderful thank you gift.

The Sound of Drums, limited to only seven copies and a couple of PC copies, is a novelette written by author David Niall Wilson specifically for this volume. Each of the lifetime subscribers is included in the story as a character. It involves the accidental discovery of a lost island by a US Navy ship, a cargo cult, a long dead author, violence, cannibals, and a lot of fun.

The book itself is a hand-bound masterpiece. The boards are colorful and decorative, foil-stamped with the Cargo Cult Press logo – the book is signed by the publisher, and the author – each including a hand-drawn tiki remarque on the inscription page from the author.
